This little piggy has been keeping me B.U.S.Y. Lately, we have been playing hard, sleeping well and eating like a pig:)

Tea Anyone?
Last week was Mallory's bridal tea in Alabama. Isn't she a beautiful bride?
Three of eleven bridesmaids.
This is my grandmother, in the blue, and her three sisters. Mimi and Carol, the tall ones, are twins. If you are new, Brad's mom is a twin and Brad's sister has twins. My chances for giving birth to twins one day is astronomical.
Mal with her grandmothers.
Her everyday dishes and flatware.
And finally Mallory with the hostess, Donna. You can tell from the pictures her home is so beautiful, warm and inviting!
Mallory received so many lovely things and now she has a mountain of thank you notes to write:) She is so blessed to have so many people that want to celebrate this special time in her life. The wedding is only six weeks away! (Think I can loose five pounds before then? I better lay off the cookies n cream ice cream!)

Sitting Pretty
Look who is sitting up! While we were in Alabama, Addison decided to dazzle us with a variety of new tricks including sitting like a big girl. She still likes to prop herself up with her hands, but she occasionally sits "free-handed".
Addison also thought she would start trying to hold her bottle all by herself, put her paci back in her mouth on her own AND wave bye, bye for the first time (we are still trying to capture bye, bye on camera)! She did all of this last week while we were in Alabama - a week shy of her 5 month birthday. She is growing up WAY too fast! What can I say, I have a determined, strong willed child. Brad and I better brace ourselves!

Aunt Mak and Uncle Brad
We have a new little niece, Frances Elizabeth! Last week while Addison and I were in Alabama, we stopped by to meet her. Isn't she sweet?
Baby Frances didn't seem to mind the chaos all around her...Addison screaming bloody murder, Walker and Kathryn flipping about...she was a calm little cucumber:) France slept the entire time I was holding her, but I can't wait to see her little eyes. Hopefully we can get a glimpse when we visit her in her new house in August! The Busbee family moved last week only a few days after Frances arrived. Can you imagine moving with a week old baby and a pair of four year olds? All I have to say is Lauren is a Supermom!

Brush, Brush, Brush!
Baby Girl has her first teeth! I finally realized Addi was cutting teeth when she bit my finger last night while I was feeding her a peach.
I am such a bad momma! Addison hasn't slept in a week (no really, she hasn't slept in 7 days) and we couldn't figure out why. We thought Baby Girl was just reverting back to bad sleeping habits. But, now we know two little bottom teeth were the culprit for our sleepless nights (at least we hope and pray). Teething was not even on my radar. She is not even five months old!

Jetsetters
As I mentioned in the last post, the Tew family has been on the go the last several months. Baby Girl now has endured 8 plane trips without so much as a whimper during the flights. With my suitcase permanently situated at the foot of our bed, I feel like a professional traveler racking up frequent flier miles.
Here is a quick recap of some of our travels:
We have been from one end of Alabama to the other visiting all the grandparents...

Addison spent some time with Cousins Walker and Kathryn...
I helped host a baby shower for Emily in Jacksonville, Florida...
Baby Girl enjoyed her first trip to Dauphin Island (thankfully before too much oil arrived)...

Whew! I still don't think I have fully recovered from our travels, but there is no rest for the weary. Addi and I are packing up and headed back to Alabama next week. But in the meantime, we look forward to enjoying a relaxing holiday weekend at home. Happy Fourth of July!
By the way...Addison has a new little cousin! Frances Elizabeth arrived this week and I can't wait to get my hands on her!
