First Zoo Visit

The expression on Addi Girl's face above pretty much sums up how she felt about her first visit to the zoo.

She was in awe of every animal she saw - frankly so was I! I haven't been to the zoo since I was a little girl and I enjoyed seeing the animals as much as Addison.

Addison was surprised to see the orangutan liked his paci too.

While we were there, we saw the lion being fed a bucket of meat that he polished off with a squirt bottle of goat's milk. Promptly after his meal, the lion roared and roared - really loudly. The zookeeper told us that he was calling for his lioness. Just like a man huh?

Our zoo just completed a multi-million dollar expansion that features African elephants and this guy below.

The zoo trip was finished off with a tour through the petting barn where a goose made Addi cry and a ride on the ferris wheel. Of course, Addi Girl chose to ride the tiger. Her Daddy couldn't have been more proud.
