We have enjoyed a wonderful Easter weekend here in NC. One of the highlights was Duke beating West Virginia to advance to the NCAA Championship game! If you didn't know, Brad is a huge fan and he is already teaching Addison how to be a Cameron Crazy:)
This was actually my first holiday away from family - ever. I was a bit sad that the three of us would be in NC by ourselves without either of our families to share the weekend with. But, we made the best of it and we tried to make our little family's first holiday together special.
I cooked an Easter dinner for us complete with a ham and all the trimmings. The best part was the pecan pie if I do say so myself:)
Addison looked so precious in her Easter dress! She had a little bonnet to wear too, but she wasn't a fan and screamed bloody murder - we opted to go bonnetless.
We somehow managed to get a family picture - after about 10 tries!
The Easter Bunny also made a visit to our house! I had planned to order Addison this Easter basket, but they were all sold out! So I got creative and painted Addi an "Easter bucket" instead.
She really like it...well as much as a 7 week old can like an "Easter bucket":)
Her favorite thing was the pink sunglasses! Brad and I just died laughing when we put on her shades. She didn't seem to mind wearing them and wore them on our neighboorhood stroll this afternoon.

AH!...Great post make! Table looks beautiful? How did you do that arrangement? Precious family picture and love the new shades!
